Charles Addams

On September 29, 1988 the loved Charles "Chas" Addams died at 76 years old of a heart attack 5 years after Carolyn died in 1983. When he died he wanted to be remembered for being a "good cartoonist". He was cremated and was buried in his pet cemetery on his estate "The Swamp".
I know this post is a few days late but I would like to thank him for creating The Addams Family comics because without him we wouldn't have The Addams Family series we all know and love today. We also wouldn't have seen Carolyn as Morticia. Some, including me, may not have discovered her without Chas. His comics are still seen and spread today keeping his memory alive.
